Jack Zulu and the Girl with the Golden Wings
Jack Zulu and the Girl with the Golden Wings by S. D. Smith and J. C. Smith
Series: Jack Zulu; Book 2
Publisher: Story Warren Books
Age: 10+
Genre: Fantasy
Rating: 8/10 Same reasons as mentioned in the first Jack Zulu book!
Content: 3/10 Violence (mans hand gets cut off, boy gets shot, battle scenes)
Romance: 2/10 holding hands, blushing, thinking about crushes, and one moment where it could be interpreted as an almost kissed scene. None of this was descriptive at all and was tastefully done, and I'd say it's totally fine for anyone who isn't super bothered by a slight bit of romance!
Characters: Jack Zulu, Michelle Robinson, Steve Robinson, Benny Marino, Becker Ghistalli, Timman
Summary: When the Thandalians' world is under attack, Jack, Michelle, Wheeler, Michelle's father, and Benny bravely enter that world and seek to defend it from evil. It's time for Michelle to assume her rightful identity, while Jack wants nothing more than to be a hero.
Final Thoughts: I'd say the same things about this one as I would about the one before! If you love quirky, unique fantasies, this one's for you! For more thoughts, see my thoughts on the first book of this series.
